No, it's GardNer, not GardEner part 2

Just a shout out to the very observant clerk at the "print your own headline store". Thanks for catching our terrible faux pas of spelling gardner wrong. The gift would have been a wreck without ya.

So, this is Vegas

This is an actual email sent out at Rob's work today. I can't believe the weather we're having!!

Dear Employees,

Due to today's winter storm, department heads may use their discretion to send home all non-essential employees. We encourage employees to exercise caution while driving due to slick roadways with possible snow accumulation. See attached news release for more details. In addition, we understand the Clark County School District will make a decision early Thursday morning (around 4:30 A.M.) about whether schools will be closed tomorrow.

White Christmas

We received a bit of our Christmas dreaming early this year. The weather forecasters have been saying, "snow! snow in the valley" for days. Well, it finally happened, I saw snow fall from 8:15 this morning until 3:30 this afternoon. BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and wonderful.

After school, there was time for building a few snowmen and throwing a few snowballs. Emma is boasting that she threw snow at Archer's head! It is wonderful to watch what our snow-starved children can do with a bit o' the white stuff.

Ridge, unfortunately slept through the whole snowman building and snowball fighting experience. Maybe Wednesday he'll get his chance!

The Tree

We scouted out the tree

We decorated the tree

Mom finished off the tree

Come by and see it, it looks much better in person.
Flock and all. That's right, we're bringing flock back!

Question...

Is it worth this to put up a few more lights?

Can we handle it? Yes, we can!

This weekend we installed all 154 (yes that was 1-5-4) handles on our cabinets. My mom and I marked the placement, my dad drilled holes and Rob attached them. We were quite a team. They turned out great.
