Race # 9

Number 9 was my first virtual race.  This is how it goes, they send you a bib and a shirt and you have a small window of days to run whatever course you want to or even on your treadmill, then you post your stats and they send you a medal.  My results are less then respectable but race number 9 was completed during the month of October and I may have watched some Netflix while on the treadmill.

Being the multi-tasker, I ran a race and got the Halloween festivities going.  Pumpkin carving, dinner, and trick-or-treating, Let's go!

Archer chose to forgo carving his own pumpkin.  He thought he would help Emma, she wanted nothing to do with the planning.

Emma was all about pulling out the seeds!

It's about that time

Birthday time for me.  I had been spending some time searching the pretty things on pinterest and saw a cute watch, a Fossil no less.  I looked online in hopes of purchasing the little beauty and came up with one site selling the watch for $300.  Cute but not that cute.  Well, as the Birthday Angel flies, she blessed Rob and I on a little shopping trip we took Downtown today.  We walked into the Fossil Outlet and there she was.  Now, the trip to Disneyland would be almost too much to take!

Archer bought a foosball table this summer and it has taken up residence in our family room/kitchen/hallway area for quite some time.  We haven't been in a big hurry to make room in his bedroom because we are enjoying the trash talkin' and butt whoopins that have been handed out.  We have been know to settle disputes by playing some foos.  And, we might have burned some calories by working up a sweat kickin some trash too.
