How fun is blogging?! We have always taken lots of pictures at our house but now, I am carrying my camera everywhere because I just might be able to blog something about our day. So, here is an example: Ridge and I were on our way to the dermatologist and we were early so we stopped at Starbucks for a Vanilla Creme Frappuccino (YUM) in the venti size because it is difficult to pry out of Ridge's hands, so get the big one, maybe you'll get a drink. When he finished working over our treat, he had some whipped cream mess and a cute look to promote Starbucks.

Sometimes they get it
Sometimes the days run together so quickly I wonder if the children are learning anything good from the rushing and errand running. Everyday Archer and Emma walk to class hand in hand and it is really quite wonderful to witness. (I will get a picture!) I have to say this started by Mom's prompting so they stay safe together but now is a habit. Today I found out that Archer and Emma had an assembly at school and met up with each other. Archer, unprompted, not only said hello to his sister but he took her around to all of the exhibits that were presented and he let her lead. I am choosing to think he learned this at home.

Family Home Evening out and about
We had a fun Monday when we went out to In-n-Out Burger with the Rhodes family and then on to the Bellagio to enjoy the beautiful flowers and butterflies on display.
Rob appreciates that there is a scripture quoted on the bottom
of the cups at In-n-Out. Perfect for Family Home Evening!

Then we went out to enjoy the creations of man and watched the fountain on The Strip.
Hoppy Easter
We had fun on Easter morning checking out what The Bunny brought to our house. We also had fun with all of our cousins at Great Grandma Jean's house.

After Grandma's house, we enjoyed the Easter lessons at church. Ridge also went to his first day of Nursery. (He cried himself to sleep.) When we got home from church, our neighborhood picnic was just closing down so Archer was able to get in a little time in the jumper.

Pretty Pretty Prince
When Emma's Easy Bake Oven was recalled quite awhile ago, we received a gift card for anything on the Hasbro site (under $32). We found a Lite Brite and the Pretty Pretty Princess game. (Thank you little Lite Brite pegs that sail so quickly and smoothly across my tile.--good thinkin', Ma.)
We finally broke open the Princess game and the most interested was, Ridgey. The jewelry box entertained Ridge for a good 30 minutes. This is the child that won't play with his own toys and much prefers the kitchen gadgets or his brother's DS. We didn't see much wearing of the Princess jewelry but, it was in the box, out of the box, back in, and then out again. Who doesn't love that.

Cartwheel Magic
Jason bet me $1 I couldn't do a cartwheel. Thank goodness Mom and Dad's front yard is downhill! (I should have held out for more)
