EMMA CAN READ!

Sometimes people tell you things about your child's ability...

NEVER believe them.

We haven't, and Emma is thriving because of it.

Amy, Amy, Amy

Just for the asking, does this doll remind you at all of Amy Winehouse?

This is how she looked right out of the package. No styling tips from Emma, just a fresh-faced Winehouse doll/Cabbage Patch.

Momma says I'm special

I got such a wonderful surprise the other day. I received a package, which is just fun but, when the package was not purchased by me and when it is flowers, WHOO HOO! My parents sent me flowers to tell me that I am "special in so many ways." Just what a girl needs!

Yes, we are a little behind, butt...

We had a really great winter break. We started off the holiday with a traveling neighborhood party where the kids met up with Santa.

We got our new living room furniture

We spent Christmas Eve with Gardners and with my mom's family. Christmas Eve was very strange this year because Dad was in the hospital. Dad was trying to get over an infection and Mom was by his side. So, even though Dad was home, Christmas was a little off.

This morning Ridge told me, "I'm not too yittle, I go scoo, 'k Mom."

During the morning rounds of dropping off Archer for school and then Em, Ridge said, "I go scoo, Mom?"

"No, Ridge, you aren't old enough yet."

"I want scoo!" followed by big crocodile tears. Poor Baby.
