On his way
Court of Honor comes around and I have to break out the sewing machine. I will get the badges on sooner next time, but I made it this time. Our boy is on his way to Eagle!

Hunger Games
We were there.
Archer and I both read the Hunger Games Trilogy and we were excited for the movie. We went with a friend and his mom to the midnight show and really liked the movie. Archer even went to school a few hours after the show!

Race #2
New month, another race. This month I convinced by brother to run with me. We ran the Six Tunnels to Lake Mead run. Completely dirt course, nice big uphill portion, tunnels, and a fun challenge for me. I know that I slowed my brother down greatly but he was a good sport about it, thanks, Jay!
So glad to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Yes, taking pictures while running. I figured there is no danger of winning the race, I might take a second to capture a pic.
One more shot of the view.

Done! I got a medal for finishing this one!

Rebel love
Around our house, we are Rebel fans. We go to lots of games for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels but this winter we have enjoyed the NJB Rebels, especially when our Archer plays! The team has been phenomenal, the players are just really well skilled, they all enjoy playing together, and they help one another. All of these things together lead them to be the season and league champions, undefeated, should be added. And if it could get any better than that, our boy was voted by his teammates to receive the sportsmanship award. Cherry on top kinda moment! Way to go, Chief!
