Ridge was invited by his "Best Bud" Cole to go horse-back riding. We weren't really sure how it would go but I decided it was an opportunity not to be missed. We arrived just in time to see Cole saddle-up and take a spin around the corral on Holly the Horse, a sweet little pony, at the Giles Ranch. Ridge watched awhile and decided to hang-out in the awesome fort for a bit. Finally the time came for Ridge to open up and he did it all.
There were chickens to feed
A ginormous rabbit, clearly in need of some carrots
Fiona, the goat, was willing to try a carrot too
Then, it was time to saddle-up. Batman never looked so good on a pony!
It was such a great day. The weather was amazing, perfect for making a new friend (another Amy), and visiting with an old friend. We are hoping that we did not over-stay our welcome because we would love to visit Holly again!
