Traaaaadition!

It is June and that means PEACHES.  Jones home-grown, juice running down your elbow, deliciousness.  The call came to us a bit early this season, June 6.  Ridge, Emma, and I headed out for the harvest while Rob and Archer studied for his final exams.  Emma was so excited to pick the "grapes". 

 Ridge however was sure that he did not like peaches and therefore would pick but not eat.  By the end of the evening, Ridge proclaimed, "I just can't stop eating these!"

We also went home with a few gardenias.  Ridge was reluctant to take one because, as you know, "flowers are for girls  greels!"



The smell of gardenias filled our house.  Some of us enjoyed the floral scent while some of us questioned why Mom bought old-lady perfume!

We returned home in time for some sidewalk painting, hoop shooting, and a game of catch.
