Ride a horse Part II

August is here and our favorite cousin was back in Las Vegas.  We decided to get the girls together for a horse lesson.  I wasn't exactly sure what Emma's response would be; would she be jealous and shut down or would she feel competitive and work to do what Madeline did? 

Here is what Madeline did:

Madeline showed us all how it is done!  What a great job she did.  And, as a matter of fact, she gave Emma something to work for.  Emma rocked it out, she did even more maneuvers than she had previously!  I was so relieved to see her feel challenged and step up instead of clamming up!

One-handed

Emma turned herself fully around on Rudy.  One leg at a time, she did a 360 on the back of the horse and then turned and slid off his hind quarters to dismount!  She is really showing us some fun things.
