Channeling my Martha

I found a great fall decorating idea on a favorite family blog. I was very excited to try my hand at making glittered gourds. I was a bit apprehensive at the reminiscent thought that my perfect pumpkins may turn out looking like the sequined/beaded fruit of yesteryear.

I am so excited to report that I LOVE the result. I even made a set for Mom to use for a few dinner parties, they were fab.
