Tulips

It is the season for tulips.  Tulips have a special meaning to me since reading "Welcome to Holland".  This wonderful poem opened my eyes to the idea that there is beauty everywhere, even when we were expecting to be somewhere else in life.  I have sprinkled tulips around my home and I am especially grateful when my husband surprises me with a treat of fresh tulips.  It adds a whole new dimension to the love I feel when I see these flowers.  I love when they are leggy and span the vase and droop down the side.  I love when they open and show their inner most being.  Love tulips, get it?!
