The Fourth

We spent the Fourth with friends this year.  We swam and feasted and visited while we watched fireworks.  We tried out the "firework" setting on our new camera.

Not a great shot but the only one including most of us.

It was a low-key celebration but a celebration.  We are quite patriotic around these parts.  We post several flags on the appropriate holidays, we love to sing the patriotic hymns during the month of July, and some of us tear-up during the National Anthem!
