The Ann Gardner park was awash with late spring beauty this weekend. The river was flowing with crisp cool water and surrounded by greenery on every side. There is a lovely walking path along the water just perfect for short family treks.
Another camera casualty
A third family camera was sacrificed at the hands of Rob Gardner. Upon entering the Garden Restaurant in Cedar City, Utah, said Gardner accidentally dropped the third in a string of family cameras. Rob has now sworn off any future involvement with possessing cameras. The first camera was lost on a roller coaster ride at Magic Mountain, along with car keys, and other items but that is a story for another time. The second camera was lost on the Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland after a drastic soaking. A new camera has been purchased and carries the color of pink to help Rob only use and not carry the camera in his possession.

A large crowd gathered at the Southern Utah University campus in great anticipation of Beverly's arrival. A surprise party for a woman of 80 with family from around the West proved to be the cause of the commotion. The surprise went off without a hitch and a great time was had by all.

There was an attempt on more than one occasion to capture the smiling faces of all five Gardners on various locations in Utah. If only it weren't for the blasting sun, the scowls, and the squinty eyes, this could be poster size fodder.

Maybe you should make a big black 'C' out of felt and make him pin it to his chest everyday. Then when people ask him about it, he has to tell them how irresponisble he is with family cameras. Then again, I shouldn't be talking. I'm the one who stepped on our camera last summer and had to buy a new one.
Amy I love you Blog!!! You are so funny. Thank you so much for the dvd. I'm so glad you did this. I can't wait to be seeing family more often when we move out west. And, how is it Camera's are sooo fragile? Everyone goes through them every three years. Plus, I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time but it's kinda funny imagining you guys going on a roller coaster and wop out of the air flies a camera and keys.
